Kimpton EPIC Hotel Miami

The Epic Hotel Miami is truly living up to its name, breaking conventions and breathing a refreshing new life into downtown Miami’s travel scene. The evolution of this landscape, as detailed in our earlier piece, has positioned the Epic as a versatile destination, appealing not just to business clientele, but also vacationers in pursuit of a unique stay.

My initial impression of the Epic was indeed one of a corporate retreat. The friendly staff was quick to highlight the well-equipped business center, the 24-hour fitness center, and the thoughtful provision of daily complimentary coffee and newspapers in the lobby.

The majestic view of the Epic Hotel Miami!

However, the perception began to shift as I ventured further. A bellman suggested I book some spa services and even recommended I try out the pool before partaking in the daily complimentary wine happy hour at 5 pm. It was starting to feel more like a holiday, after all.

The private poolside cabanas offer a spectacular view of the city, a sight to savor as early as possible in the day. The hotel’s modern design aesthetic is a balanced mix of white marble and neutral tones, offering a pleasant deviation from some of the ostentatious hotels in Miami Beach. It’s a haven from the frenzied party scene and a welcome retreat any time of year.

What makes the Epic Hotel even more appealing is its commitment to inclusivity. They warmly welcome families and pets. Their Super Hero Pet Getaway package includes pet beds, food, and water bowls, dog walking services, and even pet “pedicures”. For families, the Kimpton Kids program is a hit. Children are greeted with a treasure chest full of gifts, while parents are provided with a child safety kit that includes nightlights and outlet covers.

In essence, the Epic Hotel Miami redefines downtown accommodation by offering a perfect blend of business amenities and vacation delights, proving that you can indeed mix work with pleasure. Whether you’re a corporate traveler or a leisure seeker, the Epic Hotel is a stellar choice in downtown Miami.

“Epic Miami has large rooms with a residential feel decor. Very friendly staff and personal service and a restaurant with impressive views. Most definitely the best new addition to hotels in the area.”
Mark, Los Angeles

“I stayed at the EPIC last week, it is really great, especially now with Zuma Club.”
Jenny, Los Angeles

“Be careful of downtown Miami, definitely not a place you want to be once it gets dark, so be sure to plan on taking a cab if you want to go offsite. “I love that they text you and respond almost immediately! They were the most helpful staff and so friendly! Perfect location, and beautiful views. Great amenities and facilities and overall lovely stay. Great mini bar selection and great room service.”
John, New York

“The location and the pool deck are amazing. Also, love that you have great restaurants in the hotel to choose from. Valet was an absolute horror. We waited on our last day for 50 minutes for our car, although we called 20 minutes before going downstairs. This was the only downfall of our stay. I wouldn’t even know how they could fix this problem since there is just so much going on downstairs with the valet service.”
Javer, Cos Cob

“I like the environment and location of the hotel. The restaurant and pool area are really nice for guests to chill and relax.  The lobby is really nice. I think they can improve their room service because when I ask for room service for wine glasses and they forgot it. Also, the decoration and facilities of the hotel room are a little bit old. In the bathroom the water pressure is unstable.”
Samira, Milano

“The hotel was very chic and the beds were really comfortable. The happy hour on the 16th-floor deck was really nice. The food at the restaurant Zuma was good, but it is $$$$$.”
Ann, Ginevra
