The Epic Hotel Miami truly lives up to its name, redefining luxury and infusing new energy into the sparkling downtown Miami’s travel scene. Initially, the Epic appeared to be a corporate retreat. The friendly staff quickly highlighted the well-equipped business center, 24-hour fitness center, and the thoughtful provision of daily complimentary coffee and newspapers in the lobby.

However, perceptions began to shift upon further exploration. A bellman suggested booking some spa services and trying out the pool before partaking in the daily complimentary wine happy hour at 5 PM, creating a more holiday-like atmosphere.

The private poolside cabanas offer a spectacular view of the city, a sight to savor early in the day. The hotel’s modern design aesthetic—a balanced mix of white marble and neutral tones—offers a pleasant deviation from the ostentatious hotels of Miami Beach. It’s a haven from the frenzied party scene and a welcome retreat any time of year.

What makes the Epic Hotel even more appealing is its commitment to inclusivity. Families and pets are warmly welcomed. Their Super Hero Pet Getaway package includes pet beds, food and water bowls, dog walking services, and even pet “pedicures.” For families, the Kimpton Kids program is a hit. Children are greeted with a treasure chest full of gifts, while parents receive a child safety kit that includes nightlights and outlet covers.
