Century Hotel Miami

The Century Hotel in the South Ocean Drive

Under the sunny skies of Miami Beach, the Century Hotel, a real Art Deco classic, stands proudly on Ocean Drive. Rewind to 1990, and this gem was grabbing headlines, winning the Miami Beach Design Preservation League award for its stunning exterior. A year later, it’s the interiors turning heads, snagging another award. Fast forward to 2001, and the Century’s hitting the pages of Travel & Leisure Magazine as one of the “25 Stylish Hotels for Under 0”. With just  26 rooms, it’s become a magnet for the cool crowd – celebrities, models, and those who appreciate a mature vibe.

Designed by the legendary Henry Hohauser back in ’39, the Century had a makeover for the modern era. It’s got that understated elegance, never flashy but always on point. It’s about snagging a sweet deal in a cool place without trying too hard. Recent changes in ownership shook things up a bit. Once the go-to spot for artists and the fashion-forward, the Century is now a solid pick for those watching their budget but still wanting to be a stone’s throw from the SoBe action.

Rooms might be on the smaller side, but they’re just right for a quiet retreat away from the buzz. It’s about enjoying the South Beach sparkle without the South Beach price tag. The Century might have changed its tune slightly, but it still plays a beautiful melody.

Nice hotel in an Art Deco building, just minutes walk away from the beach and animation.

If you’re looking for something with reasonable rates and very stylish rooms to stay I recommend the Century in Ocean Drive. It’s beachfront and if you go to the top floor you can have a complimentary breakfast.

This hotel is a great place to stay. They attended to everything that we needed and more. It is a great location and it is across the street from the beach. I would stay here again.

The property is a no-frill one but the location is great. No elevator, need to carry luggage upstairs..
