Faena Hotel Miami Beach

Alan Faena is a visionary hotelier whose latest project, the Faena Hotel Miami Beach, is a true masterpiece. Situated in the heart of the Faena District, an eight-block stretch of prime oceanfront real estate that Faena has transformed into a cultural hub, the hotel is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a luxurious and unique Miami experience.

Designed by a dream team of architects and designers, including Rem Koolhaas, the hotel boasts a grand entryway that features gold-leaf ceilings, intricate mosaic floors, and a series of gargantuan murals by the Argentine artist Juan Gatti. The result is fanciful indeed, with the entryway aptly named “the cathedral”.

Guest rooms and suites are equally stunning, evoking Miami’s glamorous Art Deco past with luxurious amenities such as bespoke bed linens made in Italy and Carrara marble bathrooms. Suites are particularly lavish, featuring freestanding bathtubs, opulent dining rooms, and balconies with ocean views and plush furnishings.

The hotel’s lavish spa, Tierra Santa, is a destination in its own right. Purportedly the first in Miami that’s inspired by South American traditions, it offers beautifying treatments that will leave guests feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Dining options are plentiful and offer something for every taste. Pao by Paul Qui serves modern Asian cuisine in a moody, low-lit space with half-moon leather booths and a glimmering unicorn sculpture presiding high over the room. Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann showcases visionary Argentinian fare and is one of the most hotly anticipated restaurants in Miami.

Veranda, the hotel’s more casual dining and drinking venue, is an ideal place to sip cocktails while gazing at the ocean or people-watching by the pool. With so many dining options to choose from, guests can indulge their culinary passions without ever leaving the hotel.

Overall, the Faena Hotel Miami Beach is an ambitious and masterful project that showcases Faena’s unique vision and talent for transforming derelict neighborhoods into thriving cultural destinations. It’s a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable Miami experience.

Ethan Brown can’t say enough good things about the Faena Hotel. He finds the ease and elegance that Alan Faena creates to be truly seductive. Ethan and his partner keep returning to this spot whenever they have the chance. The staff is beyond attentive and helpful in a non-stuffy way, and everything about this hotel is what you would expect from a top hotel anywhere on the planet.

Sophia Lee thinks the Faena Hotel Miami Beach is the best hotel in Miami. She finds the room very comfortable and cozy, and the staff very nice. However, Sophia didn’t enjoy the breakfast as it wasn’t anything special and wasn’t included in the price.

Max Thompson enjoyed his stay at the Faena Hotel Miami Beach. He loved the location right on the beach, but it was a little further north than he anticipated, meaning a longish walk or a bus/taxi ride to the more vibrant South Beach. The interior design was lovely, and the staff were incredibly helpful and charming. The suite was gorgeous, but the WiFi was very poor in places, and the live music in the afternoon was amplified and distorted enough to drive him indoors. Additionally, the no-shorts dress code for the main bar in the evening was ridiculous and made him not spend his money there.

Lily Chen had a pleasant stay at the Faena Hotel Miami Beach. She loved the location, the proximity to the beach, and the decor of the hotel. Lily found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and she enjoyed the bar and restaurant. However, she didn’t like the lifts, the view from her balcony, or the layout of her room. Additionally, the hotel didn’t top up toiletries on a daily basis, and there were some issues with housekeeping. Finally, there was no porter available at check-out from the room to the reception.
