I must give a special shout-out to Marie, one of the cleaning ladies who helped me with a dress mishap in my room. She went above and beyond to assist me and was incredibly helpful. The lobby bar was also a highlight of my stay, with excellent service from the servers.

However, I did have a less than satisfactory experience with the service at the reception desk. I had requested a room with a balcony and waited for over 45 minutes, only to be given a room without a balcony. The staff at The Villa Casa Casuarina are incredibly helpful and friendly, and they strive to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. From the complimentary bottle of prosecco in the room to the comfortable bed and great breakfast, every detail is taken care of.

While some parts of the villa may need restoration, it only adds to the vintage charm and character of the place. The fact that you need to go through the restaurant to access some of the suites may not be ideal, but it’s important to remember that this was once the private home of one of the most talented fashion designers in the world.
